Bio
Hey it’s Joe Persuca here, writing all about my self, you know I always find it a challenge to write about my self, what do I mention with out sounding like I have an ego the size of the sun, or even not make my self sound like a jerk. What about stupid, can’t make my self sound like that. Even though I am one of those absent minded people, although in radio and TV it seems to be that moment where my at most attention is, totally focused and my mind totally collected.
I grew up in Western Canada, while still in high school I was forced to volunteer at a community TV station for one of my classes, after much protest, I found I loved it and asked to volunteer some more, gaining experience in operating cameras, reading the news, hosting and even editing my own segments. From there I eventually moved into news. All this experience landed me a job at one of Canada’s largest TV networks as a video journalist. After getting all the tasks no one else wanted to report on, I eventually moved on to other media companys. Reading news, and eventually becoming a host.
Currently I am running a cafe and have my syndicated radio shows that I host. Top40 countdown, JoeOnAir and Joe Persuca’s New country Count Down. Which is a very intense and high pressure job. Although the best part of the job is sitting behind the microphone with my million dollar view from high up on the 16th floor.
I love listening to all kinds of music, and eager to always hear whats new. Not only is radio and TV some of my interests, espresso is also something else that I like to nerd out and coffee. Food is also something else I enjoy, just luckily my tummy says I’m full or I’d just keep eating. We all know where that leads, I also should mention I don’t like long walks on the beach, I just like sitting there and enjoying the sunshine.
