Just like US congressman Anthony Weiner’s scandalous online revealing images, myself Joe Persuca now has my shirtless pics ‘unscandalously’ available for you to take a peak at yet with concern. Inspect closely, I woke up one morning, you know the mornings where your wake up groggy and blurry eyed, I staggered into the bathroom and noticed this weird mark on my chest.  The image was in the shape of a hand print, what happened?  Email me and leave me some interesting responces. Was I raped by a ghost? Abducted by Aliens? What about slapped by Mr. Weiner?

Sports fans of any kind get a little bit crazy, I want to see your pictures of sports fans with silly signs. My friend Chris Coburn from ThePeak in Vancouver had shared this picture, honestly, I’ve been not following the hockey game at all; I ‘m such a bad Canadian! I was watching the TV horrified watching the live images from the chopper, listening to the radio and reading news sources, I was sick to my stomach.  It was like watching a movie, it didn’t seem real.

Look at these guys in the riot pic getting busy, I wonder if they met that night?  Anyway, bad news spreads like wildfire, and I’m amazing how quickly Vancouver has gotten a black eye from the Stanley Cup riot.  Let’s call it NHL riot 2.0.  The Vancouver Canucks, our local National Hockey League (NHL) team lost, hooligans turned over a car and set it on fire, that’s when all the chaos broke out.  From all the images seen it looks like thousands of people are rioting, but really its not Vancouverites, its not hockey fans, all the frenzy is caused by people who are there to cause trouble.  These guys, probably some girls specifically went to cause trouble using the hockey fans as a way to disguise themselves.  Really, what hockey or any sports fans brings masks and exellerants to set cars on fire.  Unfortunantly, innocent people we’re getting caught in the cross fire, my friend Amelia said she was just trying to get home and went one direction and police sent her another direction then getting chased into anotherdirection and ended up getting sprayed with tear gas, all she wanted to do was get home! Damn those rioters.

The next morning I even took a walk through to see some of the damage, suprised how fast alot of the mess was cleaned up, even someone who wakled into The Bay to steal something at around 6:30am, me and 15 other people just stood and stared, watching this guy take stuff, I really hope he felt embarrassed.  The image to the left is inside The Bay 30 seconds before  a guy started to steal jewelry.

On a positive note, thousands of volunteers help clean up our city.  This is Vancouver, we love our city, even my sister helped clean up.  They took their time to lend a hand to clean up glass, wipe off graffiti, remove burn stains to restore our beautiful home back to the way it was. I wanted to lend a hand, but I was scheduled to work.  Vancouver is one of the safest cities in the world and most livable, so me and all my friends are suprised, shamed and can’t belive what happened.  The boards that are covering the windows, passer bys are leaving positive messages and leaving apologies for the idiots.

What’s happening? My goodness its been a while since I last posted.  I am having a hard time writing this post, distraction from my neighbours smoke alarm, I had to check it out.

In a few weeks I will be heading off to Borracay Philippines for a bit of vacation and climatise before I go to Manila for work.  Sad to say I won’t be taking the show on the road with me, although wouldn’t it be fantastic if I can do the show from the beach. My first week I have booked a dolphin watching tour and coral reef tours. Now I’m getting excited.

Here in Vancouver the weather is pretty awful.  At the time I’m writing this the sun is shining and Im sitting on my laptop enjoying the sun shining through my windows from the couch.  What a difficult life I live.

It’s a new year again, not really.  I have been meaning to get at this blog and write some more, just been so busy.  I’ve been working on my second movie of the year, then I have five more I’m going to be working on.  Crazy busy this year.

My life is,  I go to set, work like a mad man then go home and sleep, then do my scheduled radio shifts, sometimes with my eyes closed. 5 shots of espresso I’m good to go.

I successfully finished work on Vancouver Rock n’ Roll which is a Chinese movie of the week to be aired on CCTV in China. Then now I’m on a scary movie called Blackness. I’ve never worked on a scary movie before, and I think I might just come out with nightmares.

Hey everyone,

2010 has been an amazing year.  I want to thank all the listeners for being awsome, then all my crew making my life stress free. Also working on set making that an awsome experience.  Loved it, best year of my life so far, but 2011 is going to be better right?

This year, my new years resolution is to be less nice.  I think I’m too nice of a person, so I’m going to say no more often and be a jerk. Too much? Ok, fine, only be nice to nice people and a jerk to jerks.

Every year, it feels like Christmas is coming earlier and earlier every year. It really hit me when I looked in this weeks selection for new music, and found only holiday music. I got an email from Tommy who wrote:

Christmas is coming earlier and earlier every year. Far too early meaning that it’s bit anti-climactic when Christmas actually comes! Too much prep for too little time!

Which totally hit the nail on the head, I thought about it and was like, this is why I feel like Christmas has lots its excitement.  Sure its fun having everyone in one place, but why can’t we just have other reasons to get together than a forced holliday.  Food, drinks, and more food, dessert, mmmmm, those are the best get togethers.

I realized after having a group of friends, most of us iPhone users have the same ring tone.  After thinking every iPhone owner has the asem ring tone. and thinking about it few weeks, ya I know I have no life. Being on the streets, on train and buses and even in restaurants I keep hearing similar ring tones to my phone. The part that really sold this theory, in rush hour on a sarden packed train, iPhone rings, everyone reaches for their phone.

Hello everybody from Sechelt British Columbia, its very nice and beautiful here.  I’m working on A LARPer’s Love Story, not as an actor, I don’t know why everyone asks me if I’m acting, even though this film is about nerds, I’m nerd-ing it out in the camera department, I’ve taken on the big roll as Director of Photography, hmm, has a nice ring to it. Join me on the radio show to hear where I am, and what I’m doing, all the crazy stories. Like how in Alberta I saw rode a horse, saw a tornado start to form, almost died from bulls, got hailed on, saw the stampede, total adventure, and the Sunshine Coast looks like lots of adventures here.

As promised on my radio show, I’d write a blog and keep an update on my trip. I’m working on a documentary on rodeo riders, such a unique experience. Tonight is the first night I’ve had a chance to sit down and write, and get an internet conection. You know the hotel wants $15 to use their internet, ya, I’d rather find free wi-fi, but I didn’t get that far.

Monday July 19, 2010 I’m in Fort McCloud, I discovered they shot Brokeback Mountain here. I leave Wednesay, hopfully I’ll get a chance to take a peak at the city. The past few days I was at the Calgary Stampede documenting chuckwagon drivers, and hanging out with the cowboys.

I promise to upload some pictures very soon, I just uploaded them to my laptop, hopfully tomorrow I’ll be able to do it.
